The breakfast offered a delicious variety of breads, cheeses, and fresh fruits, making for a great start to the day!
The check-in process was inconvenient as it was located in a different hotel, which wasn't clearly communicated.

The location is very central, really close to the hikes, lifts, trains, a grocery store, and Switzerland for 2 and a half weeks. The breakfast is reasonably good and awesome, with excellent bread, tea & bread, particularly good coffee.

The breakfast was savoury with excellent bread, all the food was great. The room was good-sized and unique with books and tea, for example and the overall experience was really really nice! The location was amazing and fantastic, near town centre, church and the photopoint of the matterhorn, nice garden around the property, and center.

Perfect for a family getaway!
The views of the Matterhorn were amazing. The breakfast next door was a highlight, so many yummy options. The staff were super friendly. Rooms were cozy but a bit tight on space for our luggage. A little fridge would've been handy!

Great central location with cozy, wood-paneled rooms and clean facilities. Breakfast offers a variety of choices, but prepare for shared bathroom access. The check-in process at a sister hotel can be a bit confusing if you arrive late, so plan accordingly.

This place is perfect for families, especially with younger kids. The scenic views of the Alps from our room were just amazing. We enjoyed easy access to local attractions, and my mum loved the close proximity to great shops. We also took advantage of the tour desk, which really helped us plan our visit effectively.
My kids wished the rooms had more space for luggage.

The Alpina offered a quaint atmosphere with its all-wood interiors and amazing views. It is centrally located, just a ten-minute walk from the train station and close to the Gornergrat railway. I enjoyed a comfortable bed and hot water in the shower, along with checking in at the sister hotel next door, where I appreciated having an actual key for my room.

The mountain views from my room were amazing. I loved the charming wooden interiors that gave the hotel a unique character. The included breakfast had an excellent selection at the sister hotel Tannenhof. The room felt cramped, barely accommodating my luggage. The absence of a fridge was a downside, especially since I wanted to store snacks and drinks. Another inconvenience was that the check-in process at Tannenhof was not clearly communicated with confusion upon arrival. A bit more soundproofing could also enhance the experience, as I heard noises from adjoining rooms.

The central location allows easy access to attractions and fine views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast next door featured fresh and seasonal products, a highlight. The room had significant issues, inadequate privacy due to see-through curtains, uneven floors causing discomfort while sleeping, and a lack of amenities like a fridge or coffee-making facilities.

Perfect for couples looking for charm
The staff even helped me find a knee brace when I hurt myself skiing, which showed they genuinely care about their guests.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but acceptable for what you get.
